Who are we and what we are looking for:
Lief is a rapidly growing social-care SaaS startup based in the UK. Through our software offerings, we’re bringing radical change in a traditionally paper-centric industry. Our users save an average of 10 hrs per week thanks to our technology; time which can be better used towards their core function of caregiving. We’re a fully remote, distributed team since our inception, with offices in London and Bangalore.
We are looking to grow our lean product team with people who’re interested in building socially impactful products and shaping the culture of Lief.
We are looking for brilliant Web Development Engineers (ReactJS) who want to work in our fast paced delivery environment.
Tech Stack: ReactJS, Next.js, NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma and Postgres
What you will be doing:
If you’re successfully hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others:
- Improving Lief SaaS web application ecosystem which helps residential care homes better track, analyse and improve the care provided to resident children.
- Developing new user-facing features for a diverse audience
- Creating scalable frontend components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers using ReactJS & Next.js
- Building custom APIs using NodeJS, GraphQL, Prisma and Postgres
- Collaborating with co founders, users, developers and designers
- Analysing and determining the best tools/packages and tech stacks for new solutions
- Making social impact with every line of code
What you’ll need to bring to the table :
- Education/Training in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Software development experience with latest web technologies
- Ability to collaborate with a team of developers, product managers and designers
- Working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Good to have :
- experience in UI/UX design and accessible web applications
- published original web application(s)
