Field Operations Supervisor

Produce Pay is a new tech-based cash flow solution that provides domestic and foreign fresh produce farmers (growers) who ship to the US with immediate access to distribution and financing. Produce Pay’s solutions provide the working capital for fresh-produce growers’ need to complete their harvest and grow.

By leveraging our international network, Produce Pay connects clients with interested fresh produce buyers and distributors. Interested distributors receive connection to a growing list of international farmers who might otherwise feel limited by current financing options.

The objective of the supervisor position: It is to meet the goals of the field operations department, solve problems between field operations and inspectors, in addition to promoting the development of each project.

The main activities to meet these objectives include advising inspectors, coordinating pre-season visits, coordinating follow-up visits, become the link between account managers and inspectors, attending meetings, and reporting progress to operations managers. as well as the director of field operations.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Engineer, Graduate in Agricultural Sciences or related.

• General knowledge in production of vegetables, and fruit trees. - General knowledge of nutrition, pest, and disease control.

• Experience: 3-5 years in handling vegetables or fruit trees.

• Postharvest handling of fruits and vegetables.

• Residence area: North of Mexico (From Baja California to Sinaloa)

• To have own vehicle

• To have a valid driver's license.

• Preferable to have an American Visa and Mexican passport (Not mandatory).

• Speak and write English (70% at least).

• Availability to travel.

Job skills:

- Analyze pre-harvest visit reports and monitoring visits.

• Analyze risk reports by farmer.

• Crop forecast review and analysis.

• Personnel management.

• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Be dynamic and support the Field Operations team.

• Carry out and evaluate projects of vegetables and fruit trees production.
