Position Overview
Role: INTERN: Life Story Interviewer / Customer Success Assistant
Salary: $20/hour
Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours

Job description:

Bring your journalism experience to an exciting startup environment that is working to improve the quality of patient experience across the healthcare system by producing and sharing patient life stories.

We are looking for a part-time interviewer who can help schedule interviews with patients and family members in coordination with MemoryWell’s customer success team. This person will also conduct interviews and write brief patient stories.
Primary responsibilities include:
Contacting referred patients and families by telephone or email
Coordinating interview times
Obtaining written consent to participate in life story interviews
Conducting interviews
Writing life stories
Other tasks as assigned (could include support for sales, marketing, operations, or other)
This is a virtual position. The role includes ten hours a week of administrative tasks at $20 an hour.
In addition, the intern will be paid for every life story they complete ($25 for each story based on a pre-recorded interview and $40 for each story and interview completed). These stories are scheduled at different times of day and may include some evening hours.

Life Story Interviewers work with Protected Health Information (PHI). They are required to undergo criminal background checks, HIPAA training and maintain basic HIPAA compliant protocols in their personal workstations and workflows.
