Working Student - Finance Department (f/m/d)

As a Working Student at CareerFoundry, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team in the recurring tasks related to the monthly accounting such as the management of our receivables & payables, you’ll also be involved in our current automation projects.

This is a part-time position based in Berlin, Germany (15-20 hours/week). We are a remote-first company but will still have in-person meetings regularly when the health situation allows.

What you’ll work on:

• Preparation and sending out our monthly invoices.
• Receiving and verifying our incoming invoices.
• Control against the budget.
• Booking both incoming and outgoing invoices in Datev.

Your background:

• Good communication skills in both written and verbal in both English and German.
• Thorough, accurate, and responsible with attention to detail and the ability to work with repetitive tasks.
• Can work well in a team environment and are ready to jump in and help others where needed
• Analytical thinking in addition to know-how in data management, and process automation.
• Very high attention to detail, diligence, and reliability.
• Solution-oriented and can work independently.
• Knowledge of the tools we use: Quaderno, Datev, Stripe, and Paypal is a plus.
• Having experience in finance & accounting roles is a plus.
