Public Relations and Showroom Intern - NYFW Volunteer

Seventh House Showroom is looking for fashion focused and energetic people to become an integral part of NYFW. This season we need extra hands to help make sure that all our shows go smoothly. We need people that can generate solutions on the spot and that do not mind going the extra mile. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are excited and ready to get hands on experience. This is a great opportunity to get a chance to work with some of the best designers, stylists and editors in the fashion industry.

Looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible and stay through fall/winter semester. However, applicants who can only work through September are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

Assist with pre and post event production
Prepare materials and presentations for meetings with buyers, stylists, celebrities, etc.
Assist with administrative tasks
Managing sample trafficking and inventory of collections
Helping guests, VIPs, and media influencer check ins
Designing and organize visual displays
Assist with follow up and confirm RSVPs
Organize the showroom and create press clippings
Assist in model check ins and dressing

No previous experience required. This internship is unpaid, however, we do offer school credit hours with a very flexible schedule. We will work with your school or work schedule.
