ZipoApps is an Israeli start-up using cutting-edge technology to manage and optimize a large portfolio of mobile apps. Our mission is to find, evaluate, purchase and grow mobile apps. We have recently secured round A funding, have 180+ apps in our portfolio, and are currently experiencing exponential growth.
THE ROLE
We are looking for highly experienced Android developers with a passion to lead a team while helping build and scale our Android apps portfolio. In this role, you will manage a small team of Android developers and help our R&D team create, code, test, and maintain various Android apps. You will work closely with other team leads, developers, and QA testers, using the Agile methodology and a quality-first approach.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience developing Android applications in both Java and Kotlin
- Proficient UI programming skills
- Up-to-date with the latest technology (Kotlin coroutines, RxJava, etc.)
- Experience with commonly used Android components and libraries
- Expertise with peripheral development tools (Android Studio, git, Firebase, etc.)
- Experience in the development of an app that was released on Google Play (100,000+ downloads) Familiarity with Agile management: Kanban
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English
- Leadership skills
Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience as a team leader
- Familiarity with CI
HOW DO WE WORK?
We are a distributed team of more than 60 people, all working remotely and communicating partially synchronously (we usually overlap with our teams for 3/4 hours daily and are free to work on some of the tasks whenever it suits us best).
