Frontend Engineer

About Pay3:

At Pay3, we are building instant payout infrastructure leveraging digital currency networks. Pay3 provides the operating layer for a plug and play digital currency payment solution to power payment providers across fiat and Web3. We are a well funded company looking to disrupt how payments are made globally.
With Pay3, you will get to build in the intersection of large scale distributed systems, fault tolerant robust payment systems and Web3/blockchain.

What you’ll do:

• Create a unified component library for use across all our products
• Rapidly implement functional UI elements from design mocks, with an eye toward performance and accessibility
• Know when to create abstractions vs. one-off features
• Ensure that components are functional, elegant, performant, and mobile-friendly
• Understand when and how to run UI tests

What makes you a great fit:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, preprocessors(Less/SCSS). Solid understanding of Javascript and the ability to pick up any framework quickly.
• Interest in developing efficient and lightweight javascript packages.
• At least two years of experience in React.
• A deep understanding of modern application architecture.
• Good understanding of progressive web applications, micro frontend etc is a plus.
• Keen on keeping up with the evolving react ecosystem and other best practices in web development.
• Prior experience working with component libraries and design teams in user-facing applications
• Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack (ethers.js/web3.js, EIP-1193, client-side private key management, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in Node Js, GraphQL based server side development is a plus
• Thrive in a 0 to 1 environment at an early stage startup
• Can be autonomous - you can juggle a lot of different things and manage your time well
• Comfortable with ambiguity - startups are unpredictable
• Detail-oriented - you're known to think through every possible scenario
• Have a keen interest in Web 3.0, NFTs, and the role these technologies will play in the years to come
