Publisher Guide / Account Manager

he Publisher Guide / Account Manager role supports Indiegraf partner publishers to realize their audience growth and revenue objectives. The Publisher Guide manages a cross-functional project team formed to support the publication. The team combines experts from the audience, sponsorship, development and/or capital teams.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and overseeing the publisher’s growth strategy, developing a plan for hitting audience growth goals and revenue targets using Indiegraf tactics and tools
• Works directly with the publisher and various Indiegraf staffers from different teams (finance, audience, sponsorship, tech, etc.) to develop a quarterly Growth Strategy, which serves as a blueprint for reaching the publisher’s revenue goals
• Shares monthly growth reports with the publisher, and schedules quarterly meetings to update Growth Strategy to match the latest publisher goals
• Publisher Guide serves as the primary contact point for each assigned publisher

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of journalism industry experience and/or experience managing revenue strategy for a digital-first operation
• Broad journalism background, with prior experience managing editorial operations, audience growth, financial planning and/or strategic goal-setting
• Project management background and/or ability to execute organizational best practices to manage internal resources and recommend where publishers should dedicate their limited bandwidth
• (Preferred, but not required) Bilingual in English + Spanish and/or French
