Founding Engineer

What You Will Do

We’re looking for a versatile and experienced software engineer to lead last-mile logistics software dedicated to modern-day couriers. As the very first employee, you will have a rare opportunity to be part of a highly talented founding team aiming to revolutionize the logistics industry with Saas software while still having fun building it. You will work with the CTO and CEO directly and have a tremendous say in our vision, culture, and software architecture.

Your First 3 months

Are gonna be a lot of fun. Our customers might not have started using our software yet, so build fast and break things. You will influence the product design, and software architecture and write one of the first lines of code in the system. You will also meet with potential customers and be obsessed with their problems. After all, we are a small team bringing everything from zero to one.

Your First 9 months

Will help take the company to the next level. You will master the several domains in our system and have ownership of our codebase that you are proud of. Whether it is a fleet monitoring dashboard, driver’s mobile app, or an algorithm to optimize the auto dispatcher system, you will be the key contributor to the cool features that our customers are impressed with. You will also help shape the robust software engineering practices, introduce the testing framework, and mentor new engineers.

What Experience Will Help you

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Computer Science/Electrical Engineer/Mathematics degree
• Fullstack end-to-end software development
• Mobile app development experience
• Worked with a cloud-native tool chain - git, CI/CD, a cloud provider
• Some experience in one or more of the Java/Kotlin/Spring Boot/Typescript/React/React Native, but not required.
• Experience in using some software engineering paradigms such as Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design, etc
• Experience in using testing frameworks, observability tools, and ‘architecture as code’ tools
