SpaceBoat is launching CurioBoat (CURIO) - neighbourhood learning centers. In this era of ed-tech, we believe there are several learning experiences that are best delivered in a physical / blended setting. We tie up with new-age education and community entrepreneurs and help them grow their offline/blended presence to several neighbourhoods.
While SpaceBoat is a 5-yr-old company, CurioBoat is a new initiative. We have conducted a few pilots in the offline setting to validate business model and need, and are now building the team to build SpaceBoat, CURIO and other learning products on the company.

Job Description
You will be working largely with all product teams on the company, managing their marketing and ensuring a steady flow of customer leads for their products.
Primary Responsibilities (around 60-70% of your time)
- Social media management - manage the social media properties - Facebook, Instagram and blog, for the company’s products
- SEO - ensure that the company product pages show up amongst the first 3 links for different google keywords
- Facebook ads - Design and launch marketing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
- Google ads - Create landing pages and launch google ad campaigns for the different products of the company
- Offline events - Run marketing events in RWAs, spreading the word about Curio and Lokus workshops and courses
- PR tie ups - Tie up with news sites and blogs to write articles and get the company featured
- Newsletter - create and manage the newsletters for the different company product customer lists
- Collateral design - create the designs using Canva
- Campaign design - design omni-channel marketing campaigns for different products on the company
- Decide and optimise marketing budgets between different channels for different products
Secondary Responsibilities - (approx 20-25% of your time)
- BD/Sales Support:
- Research and tie-up potential SpacePartners and ContentPartners for SpaceBoat / CURIO
- Outbound and inbound sales for SpacePartnerships for SpaceBoat, CURIO and SportyBeans
- Create a course / workshop repository of 24 hours that can be delivered on SpaceBoat/Curio/Lokus
- Deliver up to a max of 6 hrs a week of SportyBeans content or your courses on SpaceBoat
- Handle marketing and sales of the course/workshops that you have created.
Tertiary Responsibilities (approx 10-15% of your time)
- Collaborate with other teams / members of the company to fill-in at times of emergency
- Taking care of new initiatives in the company, that do not have a team as yet
Candidate Qualification
- ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of prior work experience, who are looking to understand what it takes to get a startup off the ground;
- Freshers can apply, but, will need to have prior internship experiences.
- this is a generalist role - which means, we do not want candidates who want to focus only on doing 1 or 2 things. We want candidates who are willing to learn new things required to move the company forward.
- There are several new products being launched. A Candidate should be comfortable working in ambiguity and with failure.
- You will be part of the first five members of the company. We want self-starters who can 'figure it out' and 'run with it'.
- You will often be the first and only person on a new initiative, before thatinitiative is proven to recruit a team for it.
- A genuine interest in learning and community building.
Salary
4.2-5.1LPA, depending on prior experience.
6-month appraisal cycle. Growth in salary linked directly to growth in company product revenues.
