About the job
Do you want the most meaningful job of your career? UNDO are on a mission to tackle the greatest challenge of our time: climate change. We are a fast-growing for-profit business that is already one of the biggest carbon removal companies in the world. But this is only the start - we have ambitious plans aligned with great funding, excellent people and an inclusive team. You too could make your mark and be part of something huge.
About the role
We are building an agile, fast moving tech team who can collaborate closely with our industry leading operations, science and commercial teams to deliver the tech infrastructure needed to support this journey, including…
an innovative SaaS platform for use both internally and by our partners to manage Enhanced Weathering operations and our resulting dynamic carbon inventory
a wide variety of other tech projects ranging from scientific modelling, integrating IoT data from field sensors, and building out and maintaining our external website and e-commerce offerings + whatever tomorrow’s top priority turns out to be!
Our solutions are based in Azure, and our core SaaS platform is built on Microsoft’s Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate). We are now looking to add a Power Platform Software Engineer to the team – primarily to help drive forwards the next phase of our platform build, but if you have the skills to contribute more broadly then that’s a bonus!
Operating in an Agile/DevOps culture you will be involved at all stages of the development life cycle, working with internal stakeholders to determine system and feature requirements, building rapid prototypes, designi, coding, unit & system testing, UAT and support/maintenance.
This is a great opportunity for agile practise as it’s best, working directly with your end users to deliver rapid solutions that have immediate business impact.
About you
You are passionate about our objectives and goals as a company and driven by the opportunity to have real impact on a global scale. This is for someone who wants to make a positive social impact.
****This is the #1 priority for us. If you don’t have all of the skills described below, but you meet this requirement, you have a very strong set of alternative software engineering skills and you’ve proven that you learn new tech fast, we’d love to hear from you.
You have a high level of expertise in developing Power Platform based solutions incorporating Dataverse, Model driven and Canvas based Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
You are skilled at developing extensions to Power Platform including custom code components. You are proficient in both JS/TS and React and are skilled at writing high quality, clean, well-tested and maintainable code.
You have experience developing, deploying and maintaining Power Platform solutions utilising modern DevOps practises, CI/CD pipelines, test automation and robust security policies.
You have experience integrating Power Platform based solutions with both the rest of the Azure ecosystem (e.g. Azure functions or Logic Apps) and third party platforms.
You are innovative; you keep up to date with emerging technologies and are capable of ramping up quickly and applying these when they are a good solution for the problem at hand.
You have great communication skills and work well as a member of a collaborative, agile team. You are comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment where the needs of your consumers are constantly evolving.
