Chief R&D Officer

Cision Vision is bringing the next generation medical imaging to the hands of physicians around the world. Our technology, invented at MIT, helps clinicians see better like never before. This is an exciting moment to join Cision Vision: We just launched our first product, and have received National Science Foundation grants and closed multiple rounds of funding.

We are looking for an ambitious Chief R&D Officer who will take our company to the next level. You will lead our R&D development and clinical research, co-lead our relations with clinicians and key stake holders, and assist with product development. You are self-driven, resourceful, and hardworking. But most importantly, you are extremely passionate about being a part of a startup and developing revoluntionary technologies for the medical industry.

Our Chief R&D Officer will be responsible for:
• Clinical experiments(50%) - handling clinical/ cadaveric tissues and live animal experiments.
• Clinical research writing and management(25%) - drafting manuscripts, clinical study reports, etc.
• Sales and marketing(15%) - interacting with clinicians, Key Opinion Leaders, and other stake holders in the physician community.
• Product development (10%) - assisting with development of our products.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Passion for startup work
• Hands-on experience with biomedical or clinical experiments;
• Strong writing and communication skills;
• Outstanding willingness to learn - being comfortable taking on responsibilities outside of the comfort zone;
• Ability to break down open-ended problems into practical solutions;
• Strong teamwork and leadership spirit - all of our team members need to have the aspiration of running a whole department in a few short years as our company grows.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters or PhD Degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related fields;
• Work experience in startups or medical device companies;
• Experience with clinical research/academic research/grant writing
