Background:
As an Innovation Strategist you will be working directly with start-up leadership teams supporting their brand, business, product, marketing and growth strategies. You will need to be well versed in product-led growth strategies, as well as brand and multi-channel comms strategies. The role requires strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to think outside the box, ensuring you bring your audience with you every step of the way.

The businesses you will work on will require knowledge gaps to be filled quickly and applied efficiently to processes and frameworks that can be applied and integrated into our clients’ businesses.
What you will do:
- Lead on and provide expertise in Innovation, Business, Brand, Product, Marketing, Comms and Go-To-Market Strategies. Craft both new and proven frameworks and workshop exercises for our clients' pain-points.
- Run workshops with a focus around Brand Purpose, Value Proposition Design, Business Model Canvas Design and Comms strategies.
- Utilise analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities.
- Develop methods and frameworks for improving the speed with which we are able to service our clients
- Examine market trends and provide thought leadership to MOVE78’s Insight Reports and Marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
Research and Build Ideas
- Gather, organise and summarise information on client business strategy, industry dynamics, best practices, communications audits, and customer insights to identify key implications
- Conduct in-depth interviews with client management and key stakeholders
- Support team planning and analysis of quantitative and qualitative customer / prospect research, from discrete choice analysis to focus groups
- Use findings and insights to create compelling strategies
Be Creative and Collaborative
- Quickly pick up skills and knowledge in new areas, leveraging client, firm, and external resources
- Collaborate with others to explore alternatives and develop thinking (e.g., brainstorming sessions)
- Contribute to the development and narrative of client presentations
- Effectively communicate with, and present to, internal case teams and external client teams
- Use creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills and relate work to client needs
- Support new business efforts by participating in the development of content in proposals
Minimum Requirements / who you are:
Knowledgeable
- At least 3 years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, brand strategy, brand management, innovation, or strategic planning
- Ability to think creatively while building on and relating work to past experience
- Outstanding presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of both internal and client organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; MBA or equivalent welcomed, but not necessary
