At Ghillied, our vision is to inspire a world where all clothing is made from planet friendly recycled materials, by creating a circular economy of clothes. We produce ladies leggings manufactured using recycled fishing nets and other waste nylon. They are soft, comfortable and supportive and perfect for every day wear. Best of all, our customers can return them to us after use and we can recycle them back into the start of the supply process!

Being based in Edinburgh, and all of our products are inspired by the beautiful Scottish outdoors! We keep manufacturing solely in the UK so a lot of care and love goes into our garments which are designed to last the long term, plus have a low carbon footprint!

Ghillied has a small team that are passionate about our personal health, and making an impact on the health of our planet. Since our launch, we have had plans to grow Ghillied to a level that we produce high tech fabrics from a range of recycled materials, and make a meaningful impact on the carbon footprint of the fashion industry.

Company Status

Ghillied launched in September 2021. Since then, we have started achieving early sales growth in the UK market. The company has been self-funded so far, however we will be seeking investment at the start of 2023 in order to achieve our next phase of growth. This growth phase includes taking on new team members, developing our product range to include new menswear and ladieswear products, and growing our marketing capabilities.

Co-Founder Requirements

We are looking for a self-starter co-founder to join our small team on a part time basis. This co-founder should be:

• A natural salesperson, with an enthusiastic, ambitious and creative mindset when it comes to work.
• A strong communicator who has the ability to network with potential corporate partners and retail customers alike.
• Willing to put in sweat capital until we close our first funding round at the start of 2023.

Job Description

The co-founder role will be based in Scotland, and requires a part time commitment until our first funding round closes. The requirement is for a Sales and Marketing Director to join the team, with experience in the following:

• Long term marketing and sales strategy building & execution for the retail market via a range of sales channels with the goal of building a strong customer community.
• Technical e-commerce skills including digital marketing, social media management and content creation, customer workflows and SEO.
• Brand development.
• Customer journey and experience development.
• Photography and video content creation.

Remuneration

This is an equity based position: 10% equity – 2 years of vesting.
Once our funding round is complete, a competitive remuneration package will be available with base salary and commission in a full time position.
