Roles and Responsibilities

Awaz is looking for an experienced professional to play a vital role in developing the foundational stack for Awaz. This role is ideal for you if you have a background in full stack development and are looking at building something grounds- up, enjoy working in a small team as we brainstorm together and execute. We will be assembling, dismantling, tinkering, fine tuning and every other word in the dictionary related to building - but sooner or later we will have laid the foundation for Awaz, together and will continue to grow it.

What we are looking for

Strong coding and design skills - it matters that you are comfortable on this front and have faith in your coding prowess. This is your tool of choice in building Awaz.

Good command over Data Structures & Algorithms - these form the cornerstone of our product offering. ‘Data is the new oil’ is an overused and less understood phrase. We need you to build the infrastructure to ‘mine’ and ‘refine’ the data to be able to bring out its value.

Your skills and experience that will set us up for success: Java, MYSQL, Python, SpringBoot, Redis, Cassandra, Spring MVC, Elastic Search, AWS. For Frontend, Flutter is our weapon of choice.

About Awaz

Awaz is an early-stage, (funded) Bangalore based startup in the Job Tech space. We believe voice technology has several applications and we want to deploy it to create an interview practice platform with curated questions and personalised actionable feedback.

We are a bunch with varying backgrounds across the spectrum - startups to large corporations, Masters in Economics to Naval Architecture - who have come together to build Awaz.
