Senior Backend Engineer/Software Architect

Senior backend engineer/software architect with at least 4+ years experience. Ideally has experience (i) architecting backends for big data-collecting IoT devices and mobile applications, (ii) designing SQL and NoSQL databases, (iii) and working with AWS or Google Cloud.

Position initially is remote, and on a contract/part-time basis. Based on performance, opportunity to transition to a full-time role, including moving to London, UK. Opportunity to earn significant equity as well.

Needs to be able to work well with teams and with people from all different backgrounds and specialties. Strong and consistent communication skills is critical. Regular team meetings.
