What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
While no one day is the same, the following are some of the ongoing executive tasks you'll own:

• Create, implement, and maintain the technology architecture of an organization and ensure it supports overarching priorities and goals of the business

• Develop, track, and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for technology

• Research and share any new technologies that may potentially increase our company's competitive advantage and market standing

• Implement technology solutions for external customers

• Build, develop, and manages the engineering team

• Design strategic plans to provide effective product development

• Leverage technology and respective processes, including a roadmap to improve the products that the company has to offer

• Liaise and collaborate with suppliers of technical solutions when necessary to enhance product range, further development, and customer relations

• Serve as the systems architect and ensure products meet design requirements

• Guide all executive decisions regarding our company's technological needs

• Understand and collaborate on the complete product lifecycle from concept to execution

• Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements

• Observe, analyze, and optimize information processing systems

• Adhoc projects as necessary

*QUALIFICATIONS
*What it Takes
We are looking for a solution architect and full-stack software developer proficient in building Marketplace and eco-system.
Minimum Required:

• Master's degree in computer science or related field

• 10+ years in a similar technological role

• MUST have Marketplace experience

• Experience implementing core business strategies with technology by creating and implementing processes that scale, advancing architecture, and developing roadmaps

• Versed in Ruby, PHP, JavaScript, Meteor, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Sdk, MongoDB, Angular, Git, HTML, and CSS

• Executive, managerial experience with department oversight

• Advanced technical/engineering skillset and demonstrated success with technology in a startup environment

• Continuous improvement mindset to develop a scalable and iterative data-driven approach

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Passionate about technology and entrepreneurial environments

• Strong organizational skills

• Superb business acumen and strategic vision/direction

• Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and trends
