Frontend Lead Engineer

Leap Wallet (https://leapwallet.io/) is a crypto wallet that aims to bring dApp access, staking, DeFi, NFTs and more into one platform.

We recently closed a $3.2 million Private Sale that was co-led by Pantera Capital & CoinFund and also saw participation from Arrington Capital, Accel, Terraform Labs including several stellar angels.

As the Lead Frontend Engineer, you will spearhead the development and scaling of the Elements SDK, ensuring it becomes an indispensable tool for developers in the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond, focusing on performance, usability, integration ease and more.

What you will do at Leap:

• Design, develop, and optimize the Elements SDK, ensuring a seamless, intuitive developer experience.
• Lead the Elements frontend team, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Play a pivotal role in the integration process, navigating through the sales funnel by engaging with interested developers, participating in demo and pitch calls, and guiding them from proof of concept to final integration and launch.
• Cultivate deep engagement with the Cosmos developer community and collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to align the SDK's development with market needs and user expectations.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and tutorials that empower developers to easily integrate and leverage the SDK.*

Who you are:

• 6+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on SDK or API development.
• Proficient in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, with a passion for creating developer-focused tools.
• Experienced in deploying scalable products that serve a global audience.
• A history of proactive engagement with developer communities, showing leadership in open-source projects or developer forums.
• Experience with blockchain technologies, especially Cosmos, is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks and Figma.
• Experience in an early-stage setup is a plus

Bonus points:

• Experience building performant UI animations on Mobile
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps and automated testing integrations
• Experience working on blockchains or fintech space
• Experience with being an early engineer in your previous gigs
