We are looking to hire an IT Agile Project Manager to support our LOC Program.
Job Duties include, maintaining the project in Service Now PPM and sharing meeting notes after every meeting. Rest of it is learning business knowledge needed, for which this resource will work closely work with the Program Manager.
As an Junior IT Agile Project Manager, the contractor shall:
• Coordinate project work through all phases of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and develop required and applicable PMLC and SDLC documentation. Maintain projects in Service Now PPM to create resources, cost reports, status reporting etc.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, business analysts, IT specialists, contractors, and others to identify and capture user requirements and expectations at the Service-wide and division/office levels.
• Leads the projects and identify dependencies between projects.
• Oversee development and testing teams and coordinate timelines. Communicate and coordinate project assignments, problems to be resolved, actionable events, milestones, and issues, and sets deadlines and time frames for completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and identify dependencies and the critical path within IT project tasks affecting project milestones and goals. Conduct risk management and develop mitigation and contingency plans needed to keep projects on track. Work with others to plan, baseline, and update IT project plans to control costs and meet scheduled deadlines.
• Conduct project meetings, take notes and share with meeting attendees, and follow up on action items. Provide written responses that are concise, clear, factually accurate, logically ordered, and free of errors. They contractor shall provide responses within designated or negotiated time frames with the supervisor, organization and/or customer.
• Provide oral responses that are clear, courteous and directly address issues and questions on relevant issues.
• Continually inform the COR or the COR’s designate of emerging issues regarding the projects and offers well thought-out recommendations to prevent and/or respond to developing problems.
• Comply with the Library OCIO IT Project Management Office (PMO) policy and project portfolio reporting and analysis requirements.
• Provide PMO-related communications to stakeholders and update PMO websites to reflect current project status as required.
• Update PMO status tracking site to ensure project status is kept current.
• Work with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop a mutual understanding of their requirements.
