About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding, process driven individual to join our Product Implementation team to spearhead our tech needs in the US. This is a great opportunity to have a meaningful role in impacting the structure of how we scale our tech processes in new buildings across the US.
As our Product Operations Technician you will serve as the main tech support authority in the US on both our new implementation side, as well as existing buildings.
About You
You are an absolute doer, who can manage several projects at a time, with an extreme sense of ownership in everything you do. You have strong organizational and time management skills, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty! You are willing to travel within the US to projects as needed.
You also have:
- Experience as a technician/Installer/IT person (at least 2 - 5 years)
- Basic understanding of electrical circuit (soldering experience is a plus)
- Basic understanding of how local network works
- Familiarity with Raspberry PI \other Linux OS
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair or replace faulty equipment
- Good working knowledge of computer systems
- Eager to learn, develop and become a crucial part of the local team
What you will do:
- Operate as the main tech support authority in US (will be guided and trained by the R&D team)
- Walks operation through solutions to solve problems and directs questions to supervisors or specialists when necessary
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Create and verify correctness of new objects created in internal systems
- Find solutions for new sites network problems
- Maintain records of hardware and software inventory
