A leading cryptocurrency financial platform built by a group of Wall Street quant trading veterans is seeking a Sales Associate to join our New York office to support our growth in the digital asset industry.
An individual who thrives in a fast-paced “hands-on” entrepreneurial growth environment. Reporting into the firm’s Director of Launch, you’ll play an integral role in enterprise related client acquisition.
As part of this position, you will support and optimize all aspects of the sales cycle, including lead generation, outreach, negotiation, and contract close. You will engage clients ranging from high-growth technology blockchain companies to financial institutions to educate them on the firm's range of offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the sales cycle for new listings on the exchange including prospecting, outreach, discovery, follow-up, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Identify, plan, and advance strategies for partnering with blockchain companies for listing, co-branding, and other partnership opportunities.
- Sell value, upsell and cross sell to clients and iterate in collaboration with the broader sales team.
- Identify industry best practices for communicating complex offerings to improve conversion rates across all phases of the sales cycle.
- Partner with the marketing department to develop content to support lead generation and other aspects of the sales cycle.
- Identify market trends and opportunities through monitoring industry developments and competitors.
- Organize and maintain all sales correspondence with relevant Salesforce CRM systems
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives with product, marketing, development, and other departments.
- Maintain regular reporting to senior management on all sales activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of enterprise / SaaS sales experience is required
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex value propositions in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work as both a team member and an independent worker. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated interest in working at an early-stage company in a fast-moving, exciting industry
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proven “crypto-forward” knowledge or demonstrated passion/curiosity and ability to ramp into crypto quickly
- English fluency is required, but proficiency in one or more additional languages (Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc.) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Capable of prioritizing work, pivoting as needed, and meeting deadlines
- You must demonstrate that you have strong crypto acumen or show a demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for crypto and the ability to ramp up rapidly
