Kocomo is on a mission to make the dream of vacation home ownership an attainable reality for more people around the world. Amid tremendous growth, we’re looking for an experienced Digital Content & Communications leader to helm our strategic communications and digital content efforts across all platforms and touchpoints.
From setting the editorial agenda, to expanding our digital footprint, and defining the customer lifecycle journey and omnichannel communications strategy — this person will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the leadership team to set the course for digital content and strategic communications at Kocomo.
Ideal candidates are driven yet curious problem solvers, able to pivot easily between strategy and follow-through, and can manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

About You
- 7-10 years of relevant digital content development, strategic communications, and editorial experience (ideally within a startup or in the real estate/PropTech and/or travel industries)
- You are an expert at developing digital content and strategic communications plans from the ground up – including defining audience typologies and customer-journey mapping
- You have outstanding storytelling skills across mediums — from identifying compelling story angles, to developing, editing, and publishing nuanced yet on-brand content across channels, to liaising with external PR partners, and managing editorial operations
- You believe words have power, and that choosing each word carefully can shape user behavior. You have excellent written and editorial skills across multiple formats, including mastery of the English language
- You understand the power of socials and have experience building social media strategies, including: * Managing and growing social media channels and audiences * Developing powerful creative and copy for paid ads to target a particular persona * Designing and deploying performance-driven email marketing content (experience managing platforms like Hubspot preferred) * Creating design briefs and liaising with design teams * Monitoring analytics and offering ways to optimize based on performance (comfort with growth marketing tools across channels)
- You have experience working closely with an array of stakeholders — from senior management, to board of directors, to external contractors and partners
- You have grown and managed teams in the past, including managing timelines and budgets with external contractors/freelancers
- You enjoy working across teams (i.e sales, marketing, design and product) to set and achieve the company’s goals
- You enjoy the challenge of managing multiple projects at once while keeping a close eye on long-term vision
