About the Team

Checkmate Equity is looking to hire a Brazil-based Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help scale and grow the business. As a newly incorporated angel-backed startup you’ll work closely and cross-functionally with the entire Checkmate Equity team including co-founders and equity administrators. Through cross functional collaboration you will receive training on various areas of the business including equity administration, Carta software, and operational strategy.

About You

As a Checkmate Equity SDR you must truly be a self-starter and have the following skills:

Sales Experience - a proven sales track record with sales consultation, negotiation, and client management experience
Self Starter - flexible, independent, driven, and ambitious
Communication - you must be able to effectively communicate and navigate conversations in English both over the phone and by email

In addition to the above, it’s preferred that you have cold calling experience, in addition to experience working with c-level executives, SaaS/tech sales, equity, Carta, and/or CRM’s such as HubSpot. It’s also preferred that you have a bachelor's degree in a business or communications related discipline.
