The Opportunity

The Site Reliability Engineering team is responsible for a large set and range of services and their reliability over the AWS and Azure clouds. The knowledge and experience needed for improving the reliability of these services are expansive and deep. The company is hyper growing and we are working on AWS and Azure multi-cloud environments.

We are looking for a critical member of the SRE team. The new member would make significant contributions to the success of the team. Ideally you are a Software Engineer with focus on product reliability and automate all repetitive operations and processes to improve the reliability. Be an advocate for changes to our processes to improve reliability and helps execute on them (although other experts will contribute).

Who you are:

• Passionate about cloud product and its reliability
• Passionate about providing deployment and monitoring of cloud services
• Passionate or interested about improving the reliability of cloud services

What you’ll do:

• Define reliable production deployment process
• Automated operational metrics tracking, monitoring and alerting
• Production reliability tracking and improvement

Experience you’ll need:

• Experiences with AWS, or Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experiences with production deployment, such as
• Blue-green deployment model and its implementation
  • Change management
• Experiences in production observability and alerting
• Prometheus, Chronosphere, Grafana
  • PagerDuty, Sentry, Slack notification and integration, incident management,
• Experiences in production reliability
• Post-mortem process and it implementation
  • Production readiness review process
• Experiences in capacity planning, performance monitoring, change management
• Has worked as Software Engineer or System Engineer -
