🍥 Who are we?
Life Startup is a life design studio. We help people design and live a more fulfilling life, find purpose and realise full potential. We've been around since March 2020, and mainly led by our founder Natalya, with a support of a small passionate team.

We have a step-by-step proprietary method to help people who are stuck design their next chapter. The results are great and want to make it available to more people with a digital product. That is where you come in!

We really hope you can bring your technical skills and product design expertise to help us translate our program into an interactive, self-guided digital experience. The long-term roadmap is even more exciting and we will share more in a chat!

👨‍👦Our story
Our founder, Natalya Permyakova, is an ex-strategy consultant & design lead. She spent years in London advising Fortune 500 companies on growth strategies and developing new products and services.

Two years ago she burnt out and realised it's time for a new chapter. As she was figuring out what to do, going through pain and agony, she realised that more people have that same issue.

She developed a set of tools to help people navigate life in a structured way to figure out how to make the most of it. This is how Life Startup was born, as a next-generation personal development space for those who want to be chefs, not just cooks.

Here is what's important to us:
You are excited about making an impact with your talent through the use of technology

• Ambition and drive to build a global company
• Passion for personal development and mental health domain
• Strong technical engineering skills and experience in designing digital products
• Front and back end skills, and ideally knowledge of UX, so that you can own the tech work at the early stages
• Writing good, clean code and understanding software engineering principles
• As we grow, we expect you to take on a leadership role and lead a team of designers and engineers, so an ambition to lead and manage is great
• We want our product to be very engaging, so if you have experience or interest in game development, that is a big plus
• If you have gone through a personal experience of changing your life or searching for a purpose, it's a huge plus!

🚀 What will you be responsible for?

• Building a digital product, a web version first, with mobile app coming in later releases
• Writing code yourself at early stages and leading a tech team later on
• We are looking for someone to own our tech and engineering functions
• You will own other areas of the business depending on your expertise

🕑 Full time, hours negotiable. We want someone to join us who is fully committed to our vision and sees this role as an exciting adventure.

• We've been working remotely for almost two years, but keen to run design sprints f2f, especially at early stages
• Flexible working times where we'll agree core hours, but, if it suits us all, why shouldn't you be able to work a day on the weekend and take a day off in the week?
