We are looking for a Quality Analyst who can test and release high quality mobile gaming applications on Android and IOS platforms by creating and executing test strategies. Position: Associate Quality Analyst (Mobile).
Location: Noida (Work-from-Office).
Qualification: B.Tech/ MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc or relevant professional experience; preferably in Computer Science.
What You Bring to the QA Team:
- Minimum of 2 years mobile apps/ games testing experience.
- Prior experience testing live games with massive downloads.
- You should be highly technical along with passion for creating delightful gaming experiences for millions of players.
- Knack to find the root cause of issue.
- Solid understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
- Proven ability to create relevant and structured test cases, checklists and test plans.
- Proven ability to log actionable, reproducible, detailed bug reports clearly.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Great attention to details.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional time management skills & ability to prioritise multiple parallel tasks well.
- An exemplary work ethics.
- An ability to create and enforce processes.
Extra Gems for:
- Experience of working in Product industry.
- Understanding of Unity and Android SDK and working of various Play Store and App Store features.
- Understanding of client/server interaction and databases.
- Ability to write code (any programming language - Java/ C++, Python etc.).
Your responsibilities would include:
- Closely work with Game Engineers and Product Managers to understand the changes getting rolled out; creating and executing test plans and test cases; being the overall owner for the testing and releasing of that feature to the game.
- Work side-by-side with development / product teams to ensure the game is achieving planned milestones .
- Test case creation from design documentation or feature expertise.
- Test the functionality and usability of iOS and Android games throughout various development phases.
- Timely and structured communication of issues, risks and testing status.
- Detect, research and report potential and verified issues with relevant details in
an actionable way; keeping users at the center. Send daily reports to all the
product stakeholders.
- Verify fixes are implemented correctly throughout the product cycle in both consumer and development environment.
- Manipulate automated scripts when required to do regression testing.
- Influence the prioritisation of issues in bug database to expedite bug-fixing efforts.
- Be the voice of quality for the product.
