Software Development Engineer in Test

JOB DESCRIPTION:

● Strong ability to gather and analyze requirements, build test scenearios, automation scripts and supports decision making.

● .Drive cross-team technical discussions and decision making with solid understanding of SDLC concepts.

● Preparing Test Plan/ Test Strategy/ Test Cases/ Test Execution.

● Experience in leading quality efforts and be a team player while exercising judgement and understanding of QA concepts, Agile development practices.

● Experience in estimating the user stories.

● Take full responsibility from the release kick start till the release delivery.

Requirements:

● Strong professional experience in quality assurance SDET role with Java/C#/Python
and Selenium.

● Framework level experience will be an added advantage with tools such as Maven,
Jenkins, DevOps deployment.

● Understanding and knowledge of continuous delivery /continuous integration
concepts and awareness of tools would be an added advantage.

● Expert understanding of testing techniques for functional and automation using
Java/C#/Python and Selenium.

● Experience in Agile Methodology.

● Must have advanced skills in any technical language (Java/C#/Python) and be able
to write logics from scratch as per business logic.

● Good in GUI frameworks that involve Selenium/Java/C#/Python - TestNG/BDD
cucumber/JUnit.

● Experience to baseline/cross validate failures in GUI/API/Content programmatically.

● Should have experience in DB: Oracle, MySQL.

● Experience in Version Control: GitHub, bitbucket.

● Exposure in Continuous Integration: Jenkins / Continuous deployment and be able to
create pipelines as part of automation testing.

● Test Management tools: Jira/Bugzilla/Quality Centre/ALM

● Software development methodologies: Agile/Scrum

● Expertise in various forms of software testing (specifically in a support role): smoke
testing, regression testing, functional and non-functional testing, etc.

● Exposure in handling Front End, Back End and as well Business team effectively and
should be proactive.

● Experience in Rest Assured API Testing and have experience on Postman Tool.
