Alpha Recon is a rapidly growing SaaS company that is disrupting the risk technology and management space to help keep people safer. We will be helping to save lives. The ideal candidate will help as we continue to develop game changing data science technology.

We prefer entrepreneurial minded candidates that wish to be with the company long term. The candidate will also be involved with project planning, scoping, and provide input for systems design. This candidate will be focused, driven, and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically, have excellent time management skills, and have a demonstrated ability to execute in chaotic or fast paced environments. This is a remote position with no travel required. We cannot sponsor visas at this time.

Responsibilities
Understand multi-source data sensor and ingest technologies
Design big data and ML/AI architecture
Understand and develop database structures to support ML/AI processes and analytics.
Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
Work with stakeholders to optimize data science to support intelligence operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Focused and goal-oriented
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Architecture/Db, etc.)
At least 4 years' of experience in big data engineering
Solid understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms and how they are supported
Fluency in relevant programming languages
Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Kafka, Spark, NoSQL, Databricks etc)
