About The Role
This role is a rare chance to lead the Admissions department for one of the fastest growing startups in the healthcare industry. You will serve as a trusted member of our Executive Team and be responsible for our end-to-end outreach and admission efforts. As the VP of Admissions, you will directly manage a national team of Admission Coordinators and Managers. You'll serve as a key liaison across the organization, ensuring that every aspect of our intake processes is operationally efficient, from point of first contact through utilization review and admission. Further, you will be directly responsible for building relationships with parents, case managers, and patients, facilitating admissions for thousands of at-risk youth. You'll obsess (in a healthy way) over ensuring that every possible patient, parent, and provider is aware of Charlie Health’s programs and has a seamless admission experience.

Responsibilities
- Support new admission goals; this role is 50% individual contributor and 50% people leader
- Oversee a team of Admission Managers, ensuring that our intake process is timely and efficient
- Measure and own national admission KPIs, reporting to the Executive Team on a weekly basis

- Operationalize new technologies and processes that facilitate communication between the Outreach and Admission teams
- Develop strategies to increase the satisfaction of caretakers and clients involved in the intake process
- Create, build, and manage relationships with referral sources across priority markets
- Lead meetings with patients, parents, and providers to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and cement community partnerships
- Synthesize and share market feedback from partners, patients, and stakeholders to inform go-forward admission strategies
- Work closely with internal partners including marketing, product, client success, and legal to deliver on admission goals
- Oversee and manage the Utilization Review (UR) team; this is preferred, but not required
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
- Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Comfort with video conferencing, scheduling, and CRM technologies
- Experience advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
- Business development experience in the mental health or addiction space preferred
- Experience managing a utilization review team is preferred, but not required
