ABOUT THE ROLE
REPAY is looking for a Data Engineer to monitor, maintain, and implement new data workflows and services. This person will contribute to the design and implementation of new mission critical data pipelines in an autonomous environment, while ensuring data quality and integrity stays consistent.
RESONSIBILITIES
- Contributing to our platform's vision and architecture
- Creating scalable data solutions to support our continued growth
- Contributing data workflows to support business and customer needs
- Ensuring that data quality and integrity is maintained across all services
- Deploying new solutions on AWS with infrastructure as code
- Contributing to a collaborative learning environment with an experienced team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Demonstrable experience in software development, data engineering, or subject matter expertise in relevant field
- Demonstrable experience working with data at scale
- Proven ability to write readable and testable code (Python)
- Automated testing experience (unit and/or integration)
- Experience with automated CI/CD
- Experience with containerized application development is a plus (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- SQL experience is a plus
- Experience with Airflow is a plus
- Infrastructure as code experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A good attitude and ability to learn quickly on the job
