As an Account Manager, you ensure that all our work reflects that approach. The Account Manager serves as the anchor point between the client and our creative teams. The role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cross platform brand experiences built on sound marketing and creative strategy for our clients.
This position will report to the Group Account Director.
Key Responsibilities - Brand Marketing
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to understand business goals, strategies, and consumer insights to inform the development of strategic plans for our clients
- Create insight-led marketing briefs in collaboration with relevant teams
- Develop consumer facing go-to-market strategies and manage campaign rollout with cross-functional partners
- Own end-to-end projects through clear cross-functional communication and diligent management of timeline and budget
- Partner with the creative team in the development of brand marketing campaigns
- Maintain project budget to achieve client brand and agency business objectives
- Manage the tracking and reporting of business results that are connected to marketing efforts for these campaigns
Key Responsibilities - Program Management
- Serve as day-to-day client lead responsible for client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on deliverables
- Provide regular two-way communication between clients and internal team to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
- Facilitate open communication and smooth workflow between client, agency and cross-functional teams
- Provide strong team representation and ensure marketing efforts meet success metrics and client expectations
- Ensure outcomes are tied to client initiatives and brand messaging
- Monitoring and communicating POV on current marketing and industry issues, as well as all things digital and across social media platforms
- Develop and maintain the overall success and health for each project using all necessary internal and external processes and tools as governed by the project. This includes budget management and resource planning and allocation.
- Being solutions oriented for clients and interfacing regularly with all client levels
- Foreseeing challenges and formulating plans to manage and mitigate them to ensure success of projects
- Review all deliverables to ensure internal quality standards and client expectations are met
- Draft and present materials such as pitch decks, project and creative briefs
Keys to Success
- 4 - 5 years of professional experience, with a focus on marketing and program management. Agency experience is a plus.
- Highly effective project manager with a keen eye for detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize and organize work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Expert in digital trends and social media marketing
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to dissect culture and unearth deep insights on what moves the cultural needle
- Strong team player with a hunger to contribute to the collective success of the team
- Proactive mindset with ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
- Excellent business writing skills including editing and proofing, sentence structure and grammar as well as strong proficiency in developing impactful presentations
