Senior Financial Controller (CFO-track)

We seek a financial virtuoso to join us as a Senior Financial Controller, poised to potentially ascend to the role of CFO. This pivotal position will commandeer our financial strategy, drive fundraising efforts, and steer our fiscal operations towards sustainable expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial strategy and operations across all global branches, ensuring alignment with our corporate goals.
• Spearhead the development, consolidation, and reporting of the company's financials, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Orchestrate the budgeting and forecasting processes, implementing rigorous analytical frameworks to underpin financial and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee cash flow management, aligning fiscal and operational strategies with company growth.
• Evaluate and advise on long-term business planning, risk management, and financial modeling.
• Foster relationships with investors, manage fundraising rounds, and structure financial partnerships to fuel company growth and expansion efforts.
• Drive the development of scalable financial systems and processes to accommodate global operations.
• Navigate complex financial analysis, distilling data into strategic insights that will guide the company's financial decisions.
• Serve as the principal point of contact for financial stakeholders, including external partners across our international branches.
• Cultivate and lead a top-tier finance team, setting the stage for departmental and company-wide evolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• At least 6+ years of robust experience in finance, with a demonstrable track record in a leadership role, ideally within a global startup environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal regulations, and tax frameworks across the MENA region and understanding of US financial principles.
• Experience in financial management within a hardware and enterprise software sales landscape, with direct involvement in fundraising and scaling operations internationally.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in sophisticated financial software systems and a keen interest in leveraging technology to optimize financial operations.
• Strong leadership presence with impeccable communication skills; fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in Arabic or other languages beneficial.
• Strategic and analytical prowess, coupled with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
