The Role

About the role:
The E-commerce & Marketplaces team is looking for a Sr Business Manager to own the end-to-end business process of marketplace cooperations, from business development, through integrations, up to operations.

What you would be doing:
Taxually has a few marketplace cooperations in the pipeline, where we help clients grow through our VAT compliance technology. Your job would be to take these cooperations to the next level and get the maximum out of them.

Business Development (20%)

  • Work together with the key business leaders and sales, marketing teams to follow up on leads to launch or further grow cooperation programs with aggregators like Shopify, Stripe, Spring, Magento, wooCommerce, etc
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts on achieving the business goals

Product Management (30%)

  • Understand market needs and translate them into product features
  • Work together with the marketplaces to further develop the product value proposition
  • Manage API integrations together with the engineering team
  • Design campaigns and initiatives that ensure business growth
  • Drive technology initiatives related to the marketplace segment and formulate business requirements towards the product team

Business Operations (50%)

  • Set up internal operational processes covering the end-to-end customer experience
  • Ensure that the customer journey is in line with the business goals and continuously improve the marketing & sales funnel
  • Define KPIs of business operations and ensure that they are met
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, balance needs & constraints, decide on trade-offs and escalate if needed
  • Manage numerous projects concurrently and drive effective teamwork across different teams all having competing priorities

What you’ll need to be successful

  • At least 5 years of international experience working in product management, program management, business development, operations, consulting, or any role that requires oversight of cross-functional territories
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Good sense of diplomacy and a Can-Do attitude
  • Data savviness and great attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complexity and quickly adapt to changes
  • A sophisticated balance of leadership, influencing skills, people management, and individual contribution
  • Understanding VAT compliance is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement
