Social Media Manager

Omstars is searching for a Social Media Manager who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities across our social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing engaging social media content that is designed to cultivate an interactive relationship between users and the company. The successful candidate will possess an exceptional awareness of social media trends in order to build more effective social media marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:

• Works independently to develop social media campaigns that align with the daily activities and offerings of the company specifically geared towards achieving marketing goals across all social media platforms (Facebook, IG, Youtube, Pinterest, Tiktok etc)
• Curate, schedule, and publish content on all social accounts that is relevant, engaging, and informative all in accordance with the company’s brand guidelines.
• Responding to user comments, DM’s, FAQ’s across all social media platforms in a prompt and appropriate manner.
• Create methods for finding and saving online customer feedback and FAQ.
• Manage FB group for Omstars members (update posts, accept new members, approve member posts, respond queries on course suggestions)
• Additional to curating content -- Coordinate and communicate with Omstars teachers for promotional materials
• Basic graphic design for some social media posts Skills/Experience:
• Experience in social media management is required
• Experience organizing ‘Live’ events on social media e.g. challenges and IG takeover
• Strong copywriting skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Basic graphic design skills. (for YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts, last minute live class schedule changes…) ideal candidate has experience using Figma but not necessary.
• Ideally practices yoga and has knowledge, since some questions received pertain to specific yoga styles (yin vs. ashtanga for example), course suggestions according to person’s level/age. Maybe add a yoga related question to the copywriting exercise.
