Product Engineer

The Engineering team at HealthSmart is making it possible to launch our product in new markets provincially and globally. We love building scalable and reliable services in IBM’s secure cloud infrastructure utilizing microservices with Docker/Kubernetes, communicating over APIs. We love frameworks that allow engineers to focus on code. We are excited about machine learning and cryptographic solutions.

Our initial data layer is primarily MySQL and XML,then mapped to a greater interoperable data schema (FHIR). We have two sets of customers; doctors and patient users who will engage with our application via a web interface along with native iOS and Android apps.

Databases, data lakes and warehouses? Certainly! We are currently using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
