ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are a team of nearly 50 spread around the world with offices in Melbourne, Perth, Mumbai, Karachi and many remote workers around these locations.
Providing IT support to the team is essential to minimise disruption, security concerns and provide the team with a positive IT experience. This role is about working in the background to keep the wheels rolling, while looking for constant improvements to process, security and team experience.
This will be a stand-alone hands-on role, and you must be ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved. Our hard work ethic and vibrant culture creates a positive working environment across our close-knit teams and is the driving force behind our excellence.
In addition to the hands on IT support of the team, we need someone who can think big picture - be strategic, make a plan for the future and follow through to completion. This is something we can help guide you on, but the key is a long term thinker and willing to come on the journey with us.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
A) Implementation and Execution of IT Strategy
This is partially a hands-on role and requires someone to support the team with whatever they require from an IT perspective, including;
General internal IT Support, helping the team move quickly and resolve issues
Experience in Mac Laptops and Mac OS (ideally, or a quick learner!)
End-user remote and onsite desktop support (supporting international team)
Software tool and licenses and hardware management, including client access, SSL certificates, domain management
New software tool support, reviewing and evaluating new tools, providing recommendations
Data and information security knowledge and experience,
Ad-hoc IT requests from the team
B) Create the IT strategy for Curve Tomorrow
Work with other leaders on strategic planning & growth of IT department to provide top support to the team
Plan for what needs to be done for growth of the team including software, hardware, people and policies
Identifying improvements to the business and implementing process changes and documentation across the team
Focus on efficiency and cost savings for IT management across the business, look for areas to automate and improve
Establish a comprehensive IT security plan across the business, including data and recovery plan and compliance with ISO and TGA requirements,
Helping with the IT budget for the company including software, hardware etc. We see the role growing to include more strategic components, such as;
Infrastructure and storage knowledge to support projects and products (AWS, Docker, Heroku)
Potentially assist us with creating a Project Support team for our clients
