Co-founder

About the Role:

We are looking for a co-founder to help build the platform and assist with marketing and growth. You will mainly be in charge of growing Bot Watt’s user base with a combination of digital marketing, new feature identification, and other relevant methods. You will work on developing, and executing, a marketing plan, in addition to conducting market research about potential users and their needs. Your work will influence the development of the platform as Bot Watt continues to evolve with the industry. As with all startups, roles and responsibilities vary every day so experience working in a startup or another fast-paced environment with little direction will be extremely valuable. The ideal candidate will have some technical experience, and also some experience in the renewable or clean energy industries.

Preferred Qualifications
The list below represents the qualifications we’re most interested in, but other experience or qualifications will be considered as well.

• 3+ years working in a startup environment or in the clean/renewable energy industry.
• Knowledge of the clean energy project development process including working within the structure of government incentive programs.
• Knowledge of government/state incentive programs related to clean/renewable energy.
• Knowledge of the United States energy market as a whole.
• Full-stack web development with the following frameworks (Node, React, Redux, Next.js, ArcGIS, and PostgreSQL)
• Experience working with and analyzing large amounts of unstructured data in the form of PDF documents, scraped web records, data APIs, and other formats.
• Experience implementing digital advertising into a publishing platform like a blog or dataplatform (Google Adsense, Taboola, etc... )
• A self-starter who is driven to do quality work without specific direction or implementation
