About Partender
Partender is bringing the bar industry out of the 18th century and into the 21st by solving a real-world problem that creates $28 billion in annual losses in the U.S. alone — modernizing bar inventory by digitizing the crazy, archaic paper/pen/clipboard process into a few taps and swipes on the web or any iOS or Android device.
We're a fully-remote company with team members around the world.
About the Role
The sales development representative’s (SDR) role is to drive new business at the very top of the sales funnel. This is done by contacting and teaching prospective, small and medium (SMBs) through mid-market businesses about Partender’s cutting edge, proprietary technology solution.
A successful SDR will partner with Account Executives (AEs) to generate well-qualified new sales opportunities and contribute to the company’s overall sales revenue.
You’ll be part of a nimble, high-impact sales team at a rapidly growing startup. It’s important you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive in new and challenging situations.
Our prospects range from mom-and-pop operators to multi-billion dollar enterprises dealing with a costly, labor-intensive inventory problem, and you get to help them resolve it!
This is a quota-carrying inside sales role with high-growth potential. There’s opportunity to move into AE roles in enterprise sales, outbound sales, sales management or account management.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and qualifying inbound leads through phone calls, texting and email
- Serve as the first point of contact and help prospects understand Partender's value proposition
- Meeting and exceeding weekly prospecting quotas, including number of touch points, setting demos, quality of demos set, conversion to customers and total contract values
- Logging your daily activity metrics
- Logging client interactions in our CRM
- Identifying inefficiencies in current processes and proposing solutions
- Engaging with past leads within our CRM and converting to new sales
- Researching midmarket and enterprise customer prospects
- Attending trade shows and industry events
Requirements
Minimum Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- You’re a critical thinker and uncover the root of a problem rather than addressing the symptoms

- You’re a salesperson at heart and understand the importance of timely, consistent follow-up, taking an organized and methodical approach
- Strong communication skills
- You have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills (phone, email and in-person)
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- You take initiative and find ways to make yourself indispensable
- Adaptability
- You enjoy collaborating as a team and are comfortable with ambiguity
- Prioritization
- You can wear multiple hats and juggle tasks without losing ability to focus and execute
- Strong work ethic
- You’re conscientious, detail-oriented, and place high importance on the quality of your work
- 1 to 2 years of sales experience
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with Close CRM
- Excel and spreadsheet wizardry!
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience with BANT or similar sales qualifying methodologies
- More than 2 years of sales experience at a SaaS or hospitality business
