ShopUp, which was set up in 2016 by Afeef, Siffat and Ataur also counts Sujayath/Navaneeth as cofounders, who previously started and exited Voonik.com.

ShopUp provides a range of sales and trade management tools to entrepreneurs, including product sourcing, order management, digital payment acceptance and a catalogue, cart and checkout system they use either on their Facebook page or through Messenger. ShopUp also provides worldwide shipping solutions through local and global logistics partners, and access to working capital through partnerships with SMB financial institutions and BRAC, one of the largest microfinance institutions in the world. ShopUp uses a proprietary algorithm that analyzes over 2,000 data features to assess a merchant’s capital requirements and repayment capacity, then refers them to partner institutions for loans. By automating the credit assessment and management process, ShopUp has improved merchant’s access to capital and the speed of loan disbursement, while cutting the cost of lending borne by partner financial institutions by over 70%.

What you will do?
As a Developer, you'll be working as part of a cross-functional team of developers, designers, solution consultants and project manager, to build best-in-class modules.
Your job will see you working closely with our team of engineers bringing their designs to life, creating exceptional e-commerce experiences that range from high-converting homepages to perfectly crafted product pages. An out of the world experience is at the core of what we aim to do everyday!
You'll be creating impact alongside a talented team of developers, using a continually evolving set of modern front-end tooling.

Roles/Responsibilities
Own the tech of a module, service or a product
Architect the module working with Tech leaders
Review the requirements and review/provide solutions
Design the system and code review
Mentor the junior programmers
Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases and project mgmt processes are followed
Hands-on code the critical parts of the module
Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance

Jobs Skills required
Strong expertise in designing/developing either backend or front end systems or both
Backend Exp: RoR, NodeJS, Java, Go, MySQL, Mongo, Redis, Kubernetes
Frontend Exp: React, React native, Flutter, Android, iOS
Ability to work in a team structure and deliver projects on time
Very strong analytical and problem solving skills in super changing environment
Understanding of algorithms and data structures
