The Silicon Valley-based startup is looking for someone to manage our marketing systems who is passionate about architecting the systems and tools that can enable our startup to run a high-efficiency, data-driven marketing campaigns. We are looking for the ideal candidate who has significant experience implementing and configuring marketing tools to enable B2B marketing campaigns that drive conversions and leads. Need a strong team player who is excited by the challenges of uncertainty and who is excited about the opportunity to build marketing systems/processes and email programs from scratch at a high-growth technology startup.
What You’ll Do
Help lead and set the company’s strategic direction, defining and articulating new opportunities, and working in close concert with executive leadership, our technology team, and various business teams to articulate specific goals
Help to design, implement and optimize demand generation programs, including, but not limited to, email marketing, webinars, marketing collateral, customer stories and other B2B marketing channels
Create the vision and articulate the short and long-term product strategy for our product teams, ensuring alignment with the Product Roadmap and the company's mission and vision
Build strong client relationships through effective communication and project management.
Own the delivery and clear messaging of strategy and goals to Product teams and ensuring timely delivery against them
Represent the customer by building impactful, personal relationships, championing them and bringing their voice into the product creation process
Own our KPI’s, metrics, OKRs and acquisition numbers inside and out and be extremely metrics driven and be calm under pressure
Proven experience creating effective targeting and running paid campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and other media channels that support a variety of goals and conversion objectives.
Be excited about the customers and continue to own User growth for the company, build robust marketing tech systems to drive user growth
Manage accurate/timely records within CRM tools of business development activities and coordinate development reports and outreach dashboards regarding all prospective partner activities.
Drive User growth through low cost and social channels with an emphasis on Social Media involvement, content creation
Own all stages of the Funnel - Inspiration to purchase and post-purchase customer retention
Own entire Marketing analytics and work with Business Intelligence Teams to drive growth
Implement data-driven strategies to measure usage in various ways that enable customer success on our platform and monetization.
Work with our team of UX creatives to refine features for implementation based on data.
What We’re Looking For
Strong analytical and technical skills
3+ years of experience in senior management role managing large scale/high transaction global consumer internet / e-commerce product, marketing and tech teams
3+ years of experience with Marketing technology and Marketo certification preferred
Experience working in areas such as Mobile / AI / Machine Learning / Social Media
Deep experience in Mar Tech, User growth, Social and Mobile is strongly preferred
Ability to own lead management operations, such as instrumenting comprehensive lead nurture programs, and lead scoring
Ability to own, analyze, and optimize data quality in the marketing data pipeline
A proven track record of architecting and optimization the marketing tech stack at B2B SaaS company
Ability to enable Marketing assistant to execute efficiently through technology and process development
Deep experience owning roadmaps, product strategy and understanding how to rally teams behind and execute upon a thorough long-term plan
Strong understanding of all facets of bringing a product to market including: market analysis, product-market fit, positioning strategy, MVP's, go-to-market strategy, pricing, testing, iterating based on testing results, etc.
Demonstrated experience with optimizing Conversion funnels, Site analytics, Site Testing in a B2C environment
Experience growing products globally is preferred
Familiar with product development in Agile environments; experience with squad structures a plus
Mastery in developing and managing Campaign Operations across a variety of channels (Paid Digital, Email, etc.)
Superior communication skills, including the ability to crystallize and broadly socialize insights into stakeholder needs that the stakeholders themselves may not be able to articulate
Familiarity and comfort with data, data science including the ability to use data to analyze and monitor product KPI metrics
Must have a deep understanding of Marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and CRM systems
Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
Experience with the OKR process of goal setting
Strong ability to collaborate with C-level executives and work collaboratively with a driven leadership team
Reporting and Analytics
Define and implement frameworks and scorecards for measuring, reporting and analyzing marketing results
Report on performance at the asset, campaign, and channel level, as well as holistic performance across channels
Develop insights into marketing impact on the pipeline, revenue, brand awareness, and more; provide recommendations to enhance future campaign performance and measurements
Support ad-hoc marketing insights requests for key stakeholders
