Product Designer job description

We are looking for a talented Product Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

You will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology.

Duties and responsibilities
· Plan and implement new designs
· Optimize existing user interface designs
· Test for intuitivity and experience
· Communicate with team & product stakeholders to understand their business goals and objectives
· Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
· Create prototypes for new product ideas
· Test new ideas before implementing
· Conduct an ongoing user research

Requirements and qualifications
· Previous working experience as a UI/UX Designer for minimum 6+ years
· Excellent design portfolio
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of the range of products including Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
· BA in design or similar relevant field
· Experience with HTML5 & CSS3
· Familiarity with Human-Computer Interaction

Responsibilities:

• Create best in class work with brand and performance in mind
• Create designs for both mobile and web products
• Ensure designs are unique and stand out amongst the market in regards to competitors
• Contribute and offer ideas in brainstorm sessions. Constantly challenge yourself and others on the team to think outside of the box and push creative further.
• Communicate with the design team and cross-functional stakeholders on projects to offer as much transparency and collaboration as possible.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to execution.
• Understand design & current trends: Track trends and changes in the design landscape and evolve our applications in a strategic way.
• Resize and manipulate imagery as-needed.
• Design and prep artwork for production.
• Strong visual design skills with high attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of how web and mobile applications work.
• Experience using various design and prototyping tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Invision, Principle).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A self starter who needs minimal direction to get started.
• Excellent collaborator who likes to work independently as well as in team settings.
• Design experience in the ecommerce industry is a big plus.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience specializing in graphic design for mobile as well as desktop
• Strong understanding of User Experience concepts and practice.
• An exceptional portfolio showing smart, thoughtful design work
• Comfortable with the tenets of good visual design, with a solid sense of typography, color theory, and grid systems
• Expertise with standard design tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Ability to analyze situations and solve problems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience using SEO/SMM Tools like Youtube Analytics, Google Analytics, VidIQ, Tubebuddy, etc.
• Good communication and writing skills in English.

The company is building a data-driven ecosystem that will create a connected community of smart players, bringing fans closer to the game and redefining the way sport is played, watched, followed and analyzed.
