Software Engineer

Apolitical is a global technology company accelerating the transformation of government. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our mission to save democracy by enabling governments to make better decisions.

The Role

We are looking for a new member to join our team of mission-driven, collaborative inquisitive software engineers to build our digital policy and learning platforms. You will ideally be comfortable sinking your teeth into all parts of our stack from DevOps, to backend and frontend with the desire to build up your skill set to domain expertise in at least one of these areas. We don’t expect you to have all the answers but you should be keen to learn and figure it out.

Requirements

• 1+ years of software development experience
• Knowledge of JavaScript or the ability to pick it up quickly
• Familiarity with NodeJS and/or React would be a plus
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Open communication and a willingness to give and receive candid feedback
