DevOps Engineer - Latin America only

We're seeking a highly-motivated and talented DevOps Engineer to expand our cloud infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing software builds, promote fully automated CI & CD pipelines, through the development to production life cycle
• Research, propose and implement best practices in managing the infrastructure as code and automating cloud deployments
• Support development of cost estimates, current cloud costs, and trending information for all cloud environments
• Assist in troubleshooting of cloud systems to resolve issues across platform and application domains
• Monitor services infrastructure performance
• Collaborate effectively with other technology teams and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
• Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies, trends and opportunities

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of various Unix/Linux platforms and tools
• Experience managing a production application using cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with containers and container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8S) and Google Clould Platform (GCP)
• Proficiency with logging and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform (TF)
• Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations
• Good knowledge of Git, Git Flow, Docker and DevOps practices
• Strong analytical, testing and debugging skills
• Experience with writing reliable and strategic automated performance tests
• Proactive and get things done spirit
• Intermediate/Advanced professional English proficiency
• Ability to work remotely, independently and as a team player with an offshore team

Desired Abilities

• Monitoring, observability, debugging and production outarage experience
• Knowledge of security standards and software architecture
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Good communication skills and empathy
