Dash Financial Technologies is looking for a Senior Integration and Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Department. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of Integration/Technical Analyst, Application Support, QA experience in the financial technology industry. Fluency in FIX 4.2 protocol is required.
Essential Functions
Leadership in Technology Sales Engineering and Client On-boarding for DASH's Electronic Trading Platforms.
Design and execute FIX certification and Integration testing with clients and vendors for U.S. Equities and Options trading products, e.g., Algo, SOR, DMA, Staging, Drop Copy services.
Configure and maintain QA and UAT environments to support internal and client testing activities via FIX API.
Configure and maintain PROD and UAT FIX routing connections for Buy/Sell side institutions and EOMS vendors.
Partnership and collaboration with Sales, Trading Operations, Compliance, Technology Development, Technical Operations, and Network Operations teams.
Composition of documentation covering topics such as: on-boarding scope definition, product/feature gap analysis, test plans.
Day to Day Level I Support and monitoring of DASH's FIX routing platforms using raw FIX logs, application logs, and internal monitoring and support tools.
Day to Day Level II Support for DASH's electronic trading products.
Troubleshooting of FIX routing related production issues - input of enhancement requests, bug fixes to relevant internal product and engineering teams.
Provide technical guidance and customer service for DASH's suite electronic trading products and services.
Composition and maintenance of procedural documentation for operational tasks and system data/message flow diagrams.
Systems and Routing Platform Administration of PROD, QA, UAT, DR environments.
Design and execute test plans to validate new functionalities and bug fixes for new routing software releases.
Composition of documentation covering topics such as: test cases exercised, test results, user guides.
Design, coordinate, and execute user acceptance testing of new software releases with clients and vendors in preparation for production go-live.
Systems engineering and configuration of PROD, QA, and UAT environments
Collaboration with both On-shore and Off-shore Development and Technical Operations staff

Required Education - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Junior - Minimum 2 years of Integration/Technical Analyst, Application Support, or QA experience in the financial technology industry.
Senior - Minimum 5 years of Integration/Technical Analyst, Application Support, or QA experience in the financial technology industry.
Fluency in FIX 4.2 protocol (and higher versions) required.
Knowledge of US Financial Markets, Trading Instruments, and Trading Principles.
Asset Knowledge: U.S. Listed Equities and Options.
Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodology.
Experience with composition of business, functional, testing, and operation documentation.
