Whenever customers over the internet want to engage with an expert, they often turn to an IR system like a search engine. Classic Elastic search techniques with added ML layers do not entertain customers satisfactorily at all. Large pre-trained language models today are capable of directly generating a lot of relevant information, but at present, they are dilettantes rather than experts who do not have a true understanding of the corpus. Let alone experts, even LMs are not being used in production for search as of now which is where we want to excel. Starting with using LMs, we aim to build search experts using current advancements in NLP.
