YouPix.org – Where Scripts get a Shot!©
YouPix is a singular Screenplay & Short Film competition that differs from the competition in one major way:
We PRODUCE our winning screenplays, Directed by our Short Film contest winners.
How it works:
One thousand screenplays enter our contest.
One thousand short films are submitted to our competition.
Winning short filmmaker directs winning script.
Details:
$150 per submission
Screenwriters submit a complete script (90-120 pages).
Directors submit short films (less than 20 min. long).
All participants receive feedback from their peers.
We produce each winning team's low-budget feature (up to $500k in budget).
We are NOT looking to produce big-budget films. Our target market is aspiring/indie filmmakers who have very limited finance options, but have a unique voice. We will Produce award-winning Indie Films from our best scripts.
Our team of Producers has been involved in over 80 films with budgets ranging from $100k - $100 mil.
