It all started with a mom-and-daughters’ trip to the mall, a terrible bra fitting and one bright idea.

Armed with her own pattern and the savings from her summer jobs, Megan Grassell set out to make her younger sister, along with tween girls everywhere, feel more confident about wearing bras for the first time. In 2013, at age 17, she founded Yellowberry, with funding from a successful Kickstarter campaign, and created colorful, comfortable and supportive bras for young girls that are also age-appropriate.

Today, Yellowberry offers bras, underwear and athletic-inspired apparel exclusively for girls with an extra boost of confidence to encourage them to dream big and know they have the support to do anything in the world.

At Yellowberry, we believe in celebrating, not rushing, young girls on their journey to becoming the best young women they can be.
