Our goal is to create an online eLearning platform for individual clients (B2C) and institutional partners (B2B2C) who can use Yaruku as their most engaging and efficient learning resource for teaching core English and Mathematics for students in Y1-Y9. A large proportion of skills are relevant up to A-level and for EFL learners. We would like to combine the ease and efficiency of learning applications such as ‘Duolingo’ with the beloved gaming experience of ‘Neopets’ or ‘Tamagotchi’. Visually, the primary focus is full immersion and ease of use. Experientially, the goal is enjoyment. Students should be able to explore, practice and develop skills required in most syllabi to a degree of mastery that other methods do not allow for. These skills can be used for any goal the individual desires, although most commonly to apply for the school of their choice, boost performance up to a specific target grade, address weak areas or learning difficulties. The learning goal is mastery of each skill, using insights from the science of learning. The teaching account mode is designed to provide the most efficient and easy way to carry out online tuition between teachers and students.
