X-Friend careers
X-Friend is an AI companion app for adults (18+), built in Germany. Users create their own AI partner, with their own look, personality and voice, and then chat, send voice messages and make live voice and video calls with them. Their companion remembers what matters and talks in 15 languages.
AI companionship is one of the fastest-growing consumer categories, and we're building the European, privacy-first alternative to apps like Replika and Character.AI: real-time voice with natural interruptions, live video calls, long-term memory and characters that feel genuinely personal.
X-Friend is live on Google Play and on the web, and our iOS app is launching now. We already have paying subscribers and are growing, fully bootstrapped by two brothers who built the entire product themselves, from the app and backend to the AI pipeline and payments.
We move fast, ship daily and care deeply about quality, safety and our users. Now we're looking for people who want to own big parts of the company and help us turn a working product into a category leader.
