Before we started building this OS, I led digital commerce for one of the largest jewelry buyers in the United States. My day-to-day involved managing high-volume transactions, and the biggest bottleneck I faced wasn't a lack of buyer demand—it was completely broken infrastructure. I spent years duct-taping fragmented legacy systems and spreadsheets together just to move a single physical asset from a vault to an online storefront. When my Co-Founder, Jahreem, and I connected, we realized we were fighting the exact same battle from two different sides of the industry. He experienced it scaling a seven-figure resale business from the trunk of his car, and I experienced it at the institutional level. WRTH is the platform we always needed, built from lived experience rather than theory. As CTO, my responsibility is to translate the chaos of physical commerce into clean, agentic digital workflows. Whether I'm pushing GitHub deliverables for our automated Cross-Lister or finalizing our UI/UX master files in Figma, my focus is on creating technical architecture that does the heavy lifting for our users. Our Engineering Culture: Our team dynamics are built on absolute autonomy, speed, and clear communication. We don’t do bloated meetings or "design by committee." We use Figma as our absolute single source of truth, Slack for rapid problem-solving, and two-week agile sprints to stay laser-focused. If you join our engineering or product team, you aren't going to be a cog in a machine maintaining legacy code. You’ll be trusted to ship features that will actively manage over $100M in physical assets during our summer beta. A Personal Tidbit: When I'm not deep in API architecture, mapping out WooCommerce integrations, or trying to make our AI Photo ID model identify a vintage asset just a millisecond faster, I'm usually exploring the bleeding edge of how AI and consumer tech intersect.
